If your AVS shipped after Sept 24, 2017 none of this is needed.


If your AVS shipped between Sept 1 and Sept 24, 2017 you already have this connector and only need to do the plastics mod.


If your AVS shipped before Sept 1, 2017 you need both the connector and the plastics mod.


You can find your ship date by logging in and viewing your order history!


To do the plastics mod a small wall needs to be removed from the inside of the top case. This area is in the red box on the photos. It does not need to be smooth, just lower than the bump in the green square. The new connector alone may be enough depending on how loose the PCBs in your carts are, so you could try without the mod first.
